EXCELLENTBased on 384 reviewsVerifiedCarrie H2024-11-09Best way to get around the island!! 100% recommend!! Unfortunately our ferry got canceled on arrival but easily rescheduled for departure. Recommend this both directions. Miguel, Terry and the whole crew were fabulous. Great views, endless drinks, music, lots of fun!! Would never do the shuttle again with this as an option!VerifiedSarah H2024-10-26Best way to travel! SUCH a better way to travel from Sandals Grande to the airport as opposed to a 2hr bus shuttle. This was like an excursion in itself & the crew made sure we still felt like we were on vacation!!VerifiedMollie C2024-10-24Great transfer from northern Island resort to Airport The tour company picked us up at the designated time at our resort and took us to the dock where the ferry was located. They loaded our bags and offered us a drink and snack. The boat trip down the coast was awesome. The entire crew introduced themselves to us and conversed many times with us about what we were seeing as we went down the coast. We did get to see the Pitons, which was our main reason for taking the ferry. They offered more drinks as we our trip progressed. The water was a bit rough, but the captain did a great job at mitigating the impact of the waves. At the south end of the island they unloaded us and our bags and took us by van to the airport (about 5 minutes away). If I went back to St Lucia, I would take the ferry round trip. We took a land transfer to arrive at the North side of the island. The driver was great, but the roads were very curvy and narrow. The ferry was significantly better.Verified368courtneya2024-10-10Seem-less travel option My husband gets motion sickness so we opted for the Ferry instead of the 1.5 shuttle ride over rough terrain to resorts. The Ferry was highly organized. Terry and his crew were excellent. They gave us information on the most important landmarks and resorts as we passed by. The music was a nice touch and got you in the mood to enjoy a fantasticVacation. Seem-less and stress free travel option. We also took the ferry back to airport. We chose the top level at the start of our vacation to allow us to enjoy the scenery to the resort. On the way back we opted for the main floor. Main floor was hotter but the crew had fans going and there was also the option to walk on the front of boat. Beer, pop and snacks were included.VerifiedCorey2024-09-25Amazing time!! Highly recommend. This was an amazing time. Beautiful scenery, and the crew was extremely fun. It is the perfect way to start your vacation or get to your resort. Highly recommend!Verifiedlqpt2024-09-21Organized, stress free, easy and fun! Very organized and came through with everything they promised. Staff very attentive and even gave us a tour as we were passing areas of interest. Highly recommend!VerifiedDeparture6104092024-09-06Make your trip even more special with a Ferry ride! We used the ferry from the airport to our Sandals resort and back to the airport. The trip is like an excursion in itself. When you get off of the plane it is amazing to be met by the staff and whisked away to the ferry. We learned so much about the island, it's history and culture while we were enjoying the trip. They offer drinks and snacks to you all during the time on the boat. We would use them again, without a doubt.VerifiedShannon D2024-06-30Great Crew! Love these guys! This was our second time traveling from Sandals to the airport for a departing flight. Great way to go! Terry, Josiah and the rest of the team took wonderful care of us, showed us the island and even danced a bit! Thanks for the fun!!VerifiedCruiser405781660892024-06-26Best way to start your St Lucia stay! This was the ABSOLUTE perfect way to start our vacation. I can't say enough positive things about Fun to see Ferry. They were so accommodating and just a lot of fun to start off our trip with a tour of the island from the water. They also provided a lot of information about the history of St Lucia and showed us some key places as we went by. The music was playing, they had beverages ready for us when we arrived and they took pictures for us as well and were just a great group!! We also saw jumping fish, dolphins, and one person saw a turtle as well. They also gave recommendations for some other tours in which we did participate one and it was also AMAZING!! If you are looking on a great relaxed way to start off your St Lucia vacation, this is well worth the extra money and such a great time!!!VerifiedTaylor C2024-06-24Recommend 10/10 Experience Highly highly recommend taking the Ferry and using this company while in St. Lucia. We had the pleasure of ending our trip with the Ferry. It was an amazing way to get a tour of the island and learn a lot more about St.Lucia. The owner, Mike, called us personally to make sure we would make it in time to our flight and was extremely accommodating. The entire crew was friendly, helpful, and made the entire ride great, especially Miguel! 10/10 recommend!

The ferry was like a mini cruise around the island, and the staff were amazing and so personable, taking pictures of us and pointing out different places we needed to visit while in St. Lucia. I took about 3 hours total from being picked up at the airport to arriving at the hotel and getting our bags. Hands down the ONLY way you want to travel to your resort from the airport, especially if you get car sick!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Anna Walker2024-05-26We HIGHLY recommend taking this ferry round trip for your vacation to St Lucia. These guys know what they are doing! They take care of all of your bags on & off the boat and provide laughs, are great photographers, and constantly replenish your beer and water as needed. We lucked out with great weather on both days so our ferry ride was easy! There is an inside cabin to be covered in in case of bad weather. We were told to do this instead of the shuttle buses as St Lucia is very hilly and people get bus sick. This ferry made no one sick on our trip, both ways! These guys are awesome and well worth the $$$!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.T Smith2024-05-10Awesome way to travel to or from the airport! My wife and I took a shuttle van to our resort (near Rodney Bay) on the beginning of our stay, and if you haven’t been to St. Lucia, it’s certainly an adventure. The van was a cool way to see a lot of the interior parts of the island, but probably not for the faint of heart. From where we stayed, the van and the ferry took about the same amount of time, but I am glad we did both on our first trip. Next time, I think I would just book the ferry both ways because it was a ton of fun (open bar, snacks, and awesome crew), but it is a little more costly than by land.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Sabrina Feher2024-04-23ABSOLUTELY BOOK THIS! The FunToSee Island Water Ferry was the best way to start our vacation last week in St. Lucia. After a long day of flying, we did not want to be stuck in a car on very curvy roads for two hours, so we opted for the ferry instead. We did the fastpass on arrival, due to the close timing of our flight and the ferry's departure. There was a man waiting for us when we got off the plane. He whisked us away and took us to the front of the immigration and customs lines, then had us check in at the Sandals lounge to get our luggage tags and freshen up. After that, it was a short trip to the marina, and we were on the ferry with a drink in hand less than 30 minutes after stepping off the plane. Terry and the rest of the crew on April 16 were PHENOMENAL! Not only did they make sure we always had drinks and snacks, they played fun music, and took so many great pictures for us. The views were simply breathtaking. The island is stunning, and getting to spend the travel time on the water with fresh air, was so much more enjoyable than a car ride. The ferry was about two hours. Once we docked at the marina, the Sandals Grande was a short ride away. FunToSee provided the transportation to and from the ferry. Such a smooth process and worth every penny! We also used the ferry to take us back to the airport. I will definitely book with them again whenever I return to St. Lucia.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Blake Mason2024-04-09Fun to See Island Ferry was the best way to get from the Airport to the Sandals Grande St Lucian! The picturesque ferry ride was a fantastic introduction to the beautiful island of Saint Lucia. The staff were all friendly, played great music to get us all dancing, made sure we had a cold Piton beer in hand at all times, and offered to take several beautiful pictures of us along the ride. Skip the motion sickness of the shuttle transfer from the airport and take Fun to See Island Ferry for Sandals Grande St Lucian and other hotels in the north of the island.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Traci Nestheide2024-03-30I cannot share enough good things about Sun to See Island Ferry! Our flight was delayed and we were devastated that we would miss it. We got off the flight and they were waiting for us, rushing around so that we would not miss this incredible experience. The staff at the airport and the crew on board the boat was unbelievably kind and welcoming. I am sure some of the guests were not happy but if their flight was delayed, wouldn’t they want the boat to wait?! Thank you Mike and crew for being so fantastic! We will shout from the rooftops how great your excursion was for our family.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Quality Motor Parts2024-03-13Not too bad of travel, however the top of the boat is clear empty and if you go up to look then you will be asked to go back downstairs bc you didn't pay. There is no one up there at all. The rep wasn't rude about it, just dumb.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Jeff Jurgena2024-02-19Where to start. When you arrive. Great way to see the island, and kick your vacation off. When you are headed home, i can only say sad ferry is way better than sad taxi!!
Frequently Asked Questions
In addition to the gorgeous views, fresh air, lively music, assortment of beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks and snacks, we also include the ground transportation to & from the boat, and to & from your accommodations (both typically take about 5 – 7 minutes).
If you arrive very early you may take the taxi to the ferry, drop your luggage, and one of our crew will escort you to a local, oceanfront restaurant. We typically pick up the first $25ecd (approx. $10usd) for each early arrival Guest.
We try to leave enough “buffer time” so that the occasional short delays are accounted for. If you miss the ferry: Sandals Guests may take the complimentary shuttle. Non-Sandals Guests have several taxi options available 24/7. NOTE: Our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless you choose to purchase our Delayed Flight / Missed Connection insurance. Insurance is optional but recommended regardless of when your flight is scheduled to arrive.
The “Fast Track” rep meets you between the plane and the terminal (they’ll be holding a dry erase board with your name on it) and escorts you to the front of the Immigrations line, then to the luggage area, and then to the front of the Customs line – greatly reducing your time in the airport. This service costs $50 usd. If your flight is scheduled to arrive less than one hour before our scheduled departure you should absolutely purchase Fast Track. Even with more time between your flight’s scheduled arrival time and the Ferry, Fast Track is an amazing time saving option that allows your vacation to start quickly & pleasurably. Fast Track Satisfaction Guarantee: In the event that all prior flights have cleared, and you’re seated towards the front of your plane, and you only bypass a few people on short lines – let us know and we’ll reimburse a portion of the fee. We offer Fast Track for everyone’s benefit, and you’d rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it!
Fast Track is always optional but if your flight is scheduled to land less than one hour and a half hours before our scheduled departure we strongly recommend that you add Faster To The Fun Fast Track Airport Expediting! Remember that some tourists who post that Fast Track isn’t “necessary” in St Lucia are often travelers on early arriving flights, and may not have had connections to make – such as the ferry!
Our boat was specially selected to provide the most comfortable ride possible, however we do travel on the Caribbean Sea (which is technically part of the Atlantic Ocean) so there can be choppiness at times. The design of the catamaran hull reduces the side to side motion that generally contributes to seasickness. For people with mild issues, pills and patches should be considered as a precaution, but be careful to not mix with alcohol. For people with high sensitivity we would recommend seeking other options. Note that the alternative ground transportation is a long and winding road, and the boat may be the better alternative at your own discretion.
Our staff ALWAYS greatly appreciates financial recognition for their outstanding service, however, the fare is all inclusive. Tips are 100% voluntary and never “expected” or implied. Note that the taxi drivers are independent from our staff and are compensated by us, but they too always appreciate recognition for a job well done. It’s our pleasure to serve you.
If you purchase our Delayed Flight / Missed Connection Insurance during check out, you receive the right to either transfer your reservation to your Departure or receive a full refund of the ferry fares. If you miss the ferry Sandals Guests are directed to the complimentary Sandals Shuttle, non-Sandals guests are provided a complimentary taxi. If you don’t purchase our insurance the tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the taxi for non-Sandals guests is at your own expense.
Because St Lucia has a rainforest, virtually every day it rains somewhere. All of our seats have protection from sun and rain. We operate in the rain, and most people find themselves feeling safer on a boat rather than on the winding mountain roads in a car. In the rare event we cancel due to high winds or named storms, we will endeavor to provide alternative transportation.
Our forward bow – the open area in the front of the boat – is accessible to everyone (weather permitting). The Upper Deck is reserved for persons who have booked that seating area, and is available for only ages 7 and up.
